Free Monday Night Ski Lessons

This season's Monday night lesson program will take place at Spring Mountain on January 9, 23, and 30.  Last year we reduced the program from 6 to 3 nights, and this year we will be skipping the week of the MLK holiday, in order to encourage better attendance.  In years past, the program's attendance was highest in the first couple of nights, and waned drastically after the Council Winter Carnival. We are offering both "learn to ski" and "learn to ski better" lessons on these three evenings.  So lessons are available to people who have never skied before (or tried it once years ago), as well as people who have intermediate experience.  Instructors are all PSIA certified, EPSC club members, who volunteer their time to teach this program.  Lessons are FREE, and available to club members ONLY.  So if someone wants to take advantage of this program, they need to join one of EPSC's member clubs to participate.  Proof of membership must be shown on their first night of attendance, and a completed Registration Form must be submitted -- people can attend one, two, or all three evenings.  Lift tickets and rental equipment are offered by Spring Mountain to program participants at a substantial discount.  Participants must sign in at the registration table in the front lobby each evening in order to get the discounts -- and can do so as early at 5pm.  Lessons start promptly at 6:30pm and run till about 8:45 (mountain closes at 9pm Monday evenings).
